Founded in August 2022, Wacyi Campaigns is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and empowering Somali communities. Established by a group of prominent Somali scholars who share a passion for creating meaningful change, Wacyi addresses critical social, environmental, health, and educational issues through impactful awareness campaigns.

A healthy, educated, peaceful, and value-driven society that embraces positive change and growth.

Recognizing the pressing challenges faced by Somali communities, Wacyi focuses on raising awareness through diverse mediums, including expert interviews, short films, discussions, conferences, and digital content. By leveraging these platforms, the organization aims to foster understanding and inspire action on key issues affecting society.

Core values

With a commitment to volunteerism, partnership, and innovation, Wacyi has successfully launched campaigns tackling topics such as plastic pollution, mental health, climate change, educational advocacy, and youth unemployment. The organization collaborates with local and international partners to foster community engagement and drive sustainable solutions.
Operating from Mogadishu, Somalia, Wacyi envisions a brighter future for all by addressing the root causes of societal issues and equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions.

We invest in local solutions to the local water crisis in sub-Saharan Africa. We provide clean water. In order to help the communities we have created a group of farmers who donate agricultural product to food banks.
